I first met Emilie and Ludovic in 2018 as two young, giddy kids—completely in love and brimming with excitement for the future. There was no hesitation in their eyes as they shared their dreams, their hopes, and the life they envisioned together. It was clear from the very beginning that their connection was something special, something rare.
Fast forward a few years and what started as a simple engagement shoot has turned into a cherished tradition. Watching Emilie and Ludovic transition from those bright-eyed kids, to bride and groom and then on to the strong, loving parents that they are today has been nothing short of inspiring.
As a documentary/lifestyle photographer one of the things that I respect most about this extraordinary couple is their understanding that a photo doesn't need to be perfectly posed to be picture-perfect. Photoshoots, like life, can be messy - there can be tantrums, tears, sticky hands, grass stains and everything in between . Emilie and Ludovic encourage me to capture it all, and I know that years from now, when they're looking through their albums, they'll be grateful to see the real moments that reflect the beauty that was their life together at that moment in time. While posed photos might make a pretty cover page, it's the messy shots that tell the story.
